Accomplishments

Albert OniAlbert Oni is a native of Silver Spring Maryland where he grew up playing soccer
at the club, high school, college and professional levels. After college, Albert joined the Washington Warthogs. Albert completed his playing career with the Baltimore Blast. Albert has coached girls on the ODP, club, WAGS, and Region 1 levels for over 12 years. He was the head coach of Mercy HS varsity girls for 8 years, where he was named Baltimore Sun’s Coach of the Year in 2009. Albert is currently, the head coach of the ASA Chesapeake Charge Womens’ WPSL team, boys‘ head coach in the Freestate Soccer club, and an assistant coach for the Towson University Women’s soccer team.

Oni Premier Soccer Academy has been training local youth players and teams for several years. The program focuses on skills, a tactical understanding of the game, and team concepts in a fun and productive learning environment. It integrates teamwork with special attention to individual players. The Oni PremierSoccer Academy staff is highly qualified and experienced in working with young players and teams.

Having the experience of being coached by the best, and playing alongside some of the best, Albert really enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion with the players that come through the academy. Some of the academy's success include development of: the 2006 Baltimore Sun Player Of The Year Jessie Knight, the 2006 Baltimore City Player Of The Year Kristen Carr, the 2005 Baltimore City Player Of The Year and High School All-American Brittany Hadaway. Albert really enjoys developing players and looks forward to developing many more future stars with his amazing coaching staff!
